Recreation Passport Program

What is the Recreation Passport Program?

Recreation Passport is a program that enables people to participate in City of Richfield Recreation programs who may otherwise be unable, due to financial constraints.  To apply, complete the application and return to the Community Center, 7000 Nicollet Ave.

How Does the Program Work?

Participants may use their Passport card to receive discounts on the following programs:

  • Richfield Older Adult programs
  • Richfield Recreation programs
  • Wood Lake Nature Center programs
  • Richfield Ice Arena programs
  • Richfield Outdoor Pool passes
  • Richfield Youth Athletics (each association determines their own discount)

Participants may use up to $75 per person in discounts for Richfield Recreation Services programs (Community Center, Recreation and Wood Lake).  Other participating agencies will set their own discount limits;  consult with them if you have any questions.  Some programs may not be eligible for a discount; please inquire about specific programs before registering.  YouthNet provides additional financial assistance. Please ask when you register.

How Often Must I Apply?

Each year, Passport participants must reapply for eligibility.

Why is the City Offering this Program?

It is the City’s belief that all people should be encouraged to participate in recreation programs; the City is committed to helping people overcome financial limitations that may make participation difficult.
