The Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has a wealth of information and resources for job seekers at any stage of their job search.  Visit DEED's website to find out more.

Are you 55 or older and looking to get back into the work force?
DEED's Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) helps people age 55 and older who meet eligibility guidelines get the on-the-job training and current work experience they need through paid community service assignments. SCSEP participants gain work experience in a variety of community service activities at nonprofit and public facilities, including schools, hospitals, day care centers and senior centers. Applicants must meet certain federal income guidelines.

JOB SEARCH RESOURCES
The Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) also provides information and advice to help you plan and launch a successful job search, including how to identify your skills and plan for your career, tips on writing resumes and cover letters, and how to make a good impression in a job interview.
