The Nature Center auditorium is available for rent. Wood Lake is great for birthdays, wedding receptions, meetings, celebrations, and anniversaries. Auditorium rental includes use of the fireplace, seating for 60-80, tables and chairs, and a beautiful view of the marsh. Use of the 100-seat outdoor amphitheater is also included in the rental fee. Note: When planning the hours needed for rental, include setup, cleanup, and tear down in rental time. Early arrivals and late departures are not permitted. Two-hour minimum rental time. Audio/video equipment not provided (i.e. projectors, laptops)
Table and Chair Setup: Tables and chairs are to be set up and taken down by renters. Don't worry; they're easy to arrange! Table inventory includes eight 8’ tables, four 6’ tables and 2 card tables.
Set Up & Take Down: Remember to include set up and take down time within your rental period. Plan accordingly so you have enough time to make the space just right before and after your event. Early arrival/late departure is not permitted. Wood Lake staff will vacuum and take out garbage.
Building Rules: Familiarize yourself with our facility rules, and ensure your guests are aware of them too. We're all about safety and respect. Please ensure children are not running in the building.
Balloons/Glitter: Please, no helium balloons or glitter. We want to keep our beautiful nature center free from floating surprises!
Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. 
Fireplace Usage: If you'd like to enjoy a toasty fire, please check with our friendly building attendant for assistance. 
Temperature Control: Please check with a building attendant if you need to adjust the heating or cooling. We want you to be comfortable.
Trash, Recycling and Organics Composting: Trash, recycling and organics composting are available. Please ask the building attendant if you have any questions or need additional bags.
Building-Friendly Decor: If you're decorating, please use materials that won't harm the building. Let's keep Wood Lake beautiful!
Music & Noise: Keep the volume at a reasonable level to avoid disturbing the peaceful natural surroundings.
Technology: The room is equipped with two pull-down screens. Free Wi-Fi is also available. Laptops and projectors are not provided.
Outdoor Enjoyment: Take advantage of the nearby trails and nature areas. Explore the beauty of Wood Lake during your visit!
